Bata Shoes

“This primary school situated at Ramapuram, a Village between Vellore & Chennai (close to 40km from Vellore) in Tamilnadu. It has close to 50 students from 1st standard to 5th Standard. 30 out of 50 kids come to school in bare foot. Vellore being one of the hottest district in Tamilnadu sizzling around 40degree Celsius, it feels so bad to see such kids struggling to come to by walk in such hot weather. We wanted to save these kids from such heat. We decided to provide chappals time being & shoes by beginning of next academic year. However, by contacting BATA, we were able to get 49 sets of chappals & shoes from CSR activities. We managed to deliver them to those kids before they go on summer vocation & glad to see happiness in their face.”
